Welcome to The New Underground, a record label with no genre boundaries and devoted to the best in new music. Admittedly we're not very big, but hopefully we are clever, and as such intend to survive in a crowded and cut-throat marketplace. The only way we can do that is to concentrate on the music and leave all the trendy stuff to others. We don't have a big roster, and our artists are certainly not famous superstars, but if you wanted that you'd be visiting Coldplay's website wouldn't you? No, we're small but perfectly formed and trying to give you something you can't get elsewhere.

And so to get us on the road as it were, we're giving away lots of lovely downloads from our first three artists, Resonator, Dub Culture & Harvey Stone, in fact their entire back catalogues before they fell in to our grubby little hands. Simply find your way to our downloads page and there you can sample the drum & bass clatter of Dub Culture, the indie rock/pop of Harvey Stone's old band The Rubensteins and the widely divergent wonder that is Resonator.

But remember that we have to make a living just like everyone else, so if you like what you hear please consider buying our releases (cd's do sound much better than mp3's after all), and allow us to continue supplying you with quality music a million miles away from the old major label routine.
